Natural sun light

I moved one of my small tanks (a 15 gallon) near a window yesterday it will get early morning sun until about 10:00.The sun will hit it at an angel so it wont (I hope) be a problem with the temp but I wondered if I will start having an alge problem.
I am the only clean up crew, as this tank houses my minnie angler whose only about 2 1/2" and they are food for him.Any thoughts TIA

If the Angler is your only fish in there, you could add 1 or 2 larger hermits. Don't worry about it eating any hermits or snails. They will eat any shell-less crabs: Emeralds, Sally Lightfoot and any shrimp. I think the sun only hitting the tank for that short of a time won't be too big of a problem for algae. It will help it grow, but the sun isn't too strong at 10 in the AM anyways. BTW heres my angler:

this is my little guy he was black when I got him but he's slowley changed to this.He has a 3 stripe damsel as a tank mate he had a clown who was huge but he was still able to eat him so I do manual cleaning his snacks could get expensive lol

Those are both very cool looking fish! I have never used natural sunlight to light my fish tanks but it is a good idea if you ask me. I will be interested to see how it works out.

I also have a t5 believe it's 24 watt but the few corals that are on that end dont seem to mind I'm just waiting for when it warms up to see if I'll get an alge bloom because the sun will get warmer....time will tell

Prhoades - I found mine in Buffalo, NY at A Reef Creation. Mine too has changed, and i wish there was some pics i could share but they are all on my old phone. It used to be Neon Orange, but the tank it was in had a bunch of Aussie corals that were bright orange.

Mickela - My friend had a black one that he got from That Fish Place, and his turned to yellow with maroon stripes. He lost his when he dosed Flatworm Exit, and there was just too many worms in his tank that died off. My Angler was housed with a Black Saddleback Clown, Yellow Watchman Goby, and Bi-Color Pseudo, and all that is left now is the Pseudo!
