Natural wavemaker any good?

Hey guys,
I'm curious about the Natural wavemaker by Aquarium systems. I'd like to add flow to my 40g tank. Are these any good? I really would like the alternating wave effect. I've read the thread about the house fire but frankly I'm convinved that could happen with any powerstrip if you get water in it. What are you guy's thoughts on this thing? Also, if I do go for it, what size maxi-jets would you recommend. I was thinking the 3 1200's

I have one with 2 MJ 900 and a 1200. I also used one on my old tank. Never had any issues with them whatsoever. Inexpensive, and gets the job done.
