I had been waiting for a very long time to get a Titan Trigger. I finally got him from L.A. (DD) and he came with a spot of fungus or something on one fin. I have treated him 3 times for fungus, twice for bacteria, and now once for Ich but the spot is still there and growing. Its actually one big spot and 3 smaller spots.

I am at a loss on what to do but I cannot keep treating him with medications that do not seem to help. Any advice or past experiences would be great.

My female marron has a bag under one eye. I have no idea what it is but it comes and goes. I've never been able to get rid of it. FW dip, Formalin..no dice.

i had an asfur angel that had a fungus/bacterial infection that i simply could not get rid of. i had the fish nearly 2 months, all other fish that i treated in that cycle had been fine and moved on, this guy eventually died. i can only guess he had a much more serious internal problem that would not allow his immune system to fight off these repeat infections.

Yeah.. I was just looking for the goup hug thing here...haha

I am going to give him a week or two without any medicine and see what it looks like then.

First, not all fish will live. Some are doomed by the way it is captured and/or treated before you get it. That is why good eyes for quality is important.

Second, disease control is a major part of keeping fish for a long long time. You must know about QT against ich (kindred kinds) and external bacterial infection, and then flukes. These are the three major classes of killers of fish but are also the easiest to control. Ich in particular is nearly 100% preventable with thorough QT.
