I am sorry I haven't been online or active lately. I have a lot going on.

I did receive and email from a student from East Stroudsburg University about getting some donations for a new program they are starting.

His name is Mike and he has asked for donations of corals for their propagation program.

I encourage all of you to donate as much as you can. I will be donating a few species of my own.

I will update you on the address for donations when I can.

I hope that some of us can share boxes for shipments so to save on shipping. Anyone in my area willing to donate some corals can post on this thread so we can keep members informed of what we are doing!

I hope we can help their program in a truly positive and helpful way to encourage captive propagation through education.

I can hack my softies with no prob. In fact I have a couple that are attaching now. You know what I have Rick, just let me know what and when you want it this way I have time to get it to attach.

Could you pass along some contact info. ESU is very close to home for me, and I can bring them stuff very conveniently.

Sorry its been a few days since I have been online to check things out. I will update you all as soon as I get the official information that I have requested for our club and members to donate to.

I would like to call the professor in charge to check out their setup before we send them stuff they can not take care of. I have a few questions about the program as well.

On another note, I am still in the process of moving and it has gone from bad to worst of all. LOL I have posted a detailed thread on this in our forum. Please read, funny, sad, and all that!

I will be talking to Dr. Hunt on Wednesday via email. I will update you with contact information and the needs of the college. Maybe in the near future NCPARS can do some sort of tour of their facility or have a frag swap/education seminar setup with the college for us and students/faculty to get to know each other and also build a great educational relationship. I know that only good can come from our club working with a major university and doing our part in education, protection, propagation, and of course a collaborative effort to do what is necessary to promote the hobby, science, and education from the hobby and a scientific view.

Thank you all for your support, I am sure the University will be elated to know that they are saving our reefs, getting multi generation corals, and getting such an outreach from the community!

I am very proud of our club, the response is much more than I anticipated! THUMBS UP TO ALL OF YOU! Oh of course, I LOVE YOU GUYS! This is why I am in this hobby and why I am involved in THIS club!
