need a bit of help

just managed to hatch like 300 perc clown eggs a few days ago. i have them in a blackd out 10 gal. tank with air stone. but now i have about 100. can some help me with any ideas?

Food for rotifers, not clownfish larvae... its food for food

It's also used to give a background color so the larvae have an easier time seeing the rotifers.

I hope you have been cultivating rotifers and lots of them! If you dont get them rots you will see larger numbers lost.

Well dey all died, i tried feeding dem frozen rots someone suggested online it was possible but obviously NOT so now i have a new batch im gonna try again and start a live culture. The only thing is how would i no i have enough to harvest since their so tiny i cant tell if their mutiplying

Freeze dried rots never work cause the fry hunt and chase the rots a little. When they bend their tail and shoot after one.

To get your rot population up, raise the temp of the rots in the bucket to almost 78. They will grow faster. Opposite is true when the temp is lower.

I got a magnifing glass in the begining to "count the rots" I would put a bit of rotifier water in a 5ml glass tube and hold it up to the light and try to count 20-30 little white specks. Once my density was a bit more than that I knew I had enough.
I have tried twice to raise baby clowns and on my second attempt I suceeded in keeping one alive. It is now around 3 months old and is eating flake food and frozen cyclopees and frozen baby brine shrimp and anything else it can fit in its mouth. But in the begining it was only live rotifers for at least the first week. : )

If you can, get some otohime from reeds mariculture. The starter kit Will last you months. And its so much easier than feeding them bbs. It will be easier to week them off of the rots and onto dry food like pellets. I start feeding my fry otohime A on about day 5. They start to troll the surface and will start eating it. Once thru meta I stop rots and they should be on the otohime full time.

I'm feeding my rots rg complete i got the kit from reed. but would it be possible to feed den some other type of phyto like "phytoplex" or "phytogreen s/m" web i run out? is it the same stuff?

well its day 5 and they seem like they're doing good. they seem a little bigger now like i can notice their bodys alot more. i they make it through the meta stage i hear it might kill them is dat true?

Don't feel bad even 1 is a sucess! I like you have only 1 little survivor we call him "Solo."
He is about 4 months now and is really cool. I hope I get a chance to raise a big batch some day. It really is all up to my clown pair.
