Need a coral ID

Sorry for the bad pick. The coral is a light purple, I haven't seen any polyps, it has grown outward. It is very spilky and kills any coral it toughes. I need to know what it is, and how to take care of it. Thanks,

I don't think anyone is going to be able to id it with that pic. Maybe try adjusting your white balance and it would be a little easier to see?

Looks and sounds like echinophyllia.

Spikey with strong sweepers.

This is the best picture I could get. If it is a echinophyllia, where should I keep it in my tank. I still haven't seen any kind of sweepers or mouth. It has grown a little though. Thanks,

Very nice read Mr. Ugly. I will have to look closely at night. I have yet to see any sweepers, but It did take out another unknown SPS frag that was close to it. I hope it colors up right now its probly the least artractive coral in my tank. Thanks,
