Need a fish suggestion

I have a 39g Cadlights Sig tank and have had a pair of black ocellaris clowns right now.

I want to add another fish but it needs to be something that can deal with these bruisers. If you stick your hand in there they bite and get all ****ed off.

So I think I need something that can fend for itself. Would love to get a wrasse but not sure which would be a good fit.

Any suggestions?

Whatever you add, you probably need to isolate the clowns, reaquascape, and separate them from the new fish for a while. A dwarf angel might be okay, or something that lives outside their midwater zone, like a decent sized blenny. For wrasses, not sure, maybe a six line?

With the clowns, it is futile. You could do a shrimp goby pair assuming you have substrate. Without the clowns, I can suggest many.

I had a watchman goby in there for a while and they would harass him but he stood his ground. He ended up falling victim to a carpet anemone in the middle of the night.

Lisa, I was thinking about a nice size blenny. Might look into that again.

You should be fine with a dwarf angel, just make sure its a decent size. My clowns are nasty to but they dont mess with my potter angel.

You could always add a damel. LOL.

What bout a pseudochromis or dottyback? They are bullies themselves and quite territorial. And hey some damsels can be pretty cool! lol

Orchid dottyback. Dwarf angel, your pick, but the argi complex will be a little more rough and tough despite their size. Starckii damsel. and I hate recommending sixline wrasses because they get so mean, but if you have no intention to add any other wrasses (most people want to later) then a sixline would be fine, only if you don't plan to have other wrasses later, because they are a pain to catch.

I like the idea of a dwarf angel but I want to add a clam soon and don't want it to bother it or my torch coral.

I'll look at some of the other suggestions too.
