I wanna say its some type of chitton, but not 100%. Try using the flash to take a pic so I can get a better look at it.

Nevermind, I just turned it over. It looks like it is part of a Asterina starfish. I have those and read they split. I'm almost for sure that is what it is.

yea, It has that one large leg and I can see 3 small ones. As soon as i knoked it on its back, I could tell its a starfish. I just asked too soon....
