So I have been into saltwater for several years, but have always had cube tanks. I changed over to a long tank and can't seem to get my flow nailed down. I have a 950gph return, a Jebao wp10 on the rear glass in constant mode, and a Jebao wp25 on each end running various wave modes through Apex. Both are about 2/3rd the way up the height of the tank.
My rock is formed in two pillars being higher in the back and tapering down to the front angled left. I have a photo from the front of the tank as well as a rudimentary topographical layout from above so you can see how things are setup.
I have a decent amount of flow thought the tank, I can see plenty of movement everywhere. But I am getting a bit of buildup on the sandbed in the area's I list on the layout as dead spots. There is still water column movement in those areas, but not sandbed agitation. And the middle front, I get too much current at times and it creates an exposed glass area in the sand. At first I had the powerheads pointing straight toward each other and now have then angled a bt toward the front glass, but still no change.
Any input on where to move the powerheads or how to angle them would be appreciated!
