Need a little advice

Hello all,

I just finally got the go ahead for the tank upgrade from the wife. I've had my 55 set up with about 6 months now. Great coralline growth on the glass walls and corals thriving. I've had this tank setup for years just not all at once and have been itching to build a new stand and build another new custom tank. I have many ideas in mind but I am worry about one thing. My wife is in the military. She's currently in pilot training for the next 10 months. Seems like a long time, but I am worried about having to move a larger system. Does anyone have any advice for this?

I have moved my 55gallon many times, with sump and stand and everything and it was not to bad but it was only a 4-5 hour drive. I am worried about cross states, etc. Will moving a larger system be much different? You guys think it's worth building a new one? Fortunately, I have all the equipment for something in the 120-150 range. skimmer, lights, etc. Just missing the tank and stand.

So ya any ideas on how I can maybe start this build, if i decide to, to make it easier and be ready for a month in a year or so. Or even taking advice on maybe just not doing anything at all!

Thanks.

How long until your wife's discharge?
Maybe you can go ahead with get started with the stand, canopy and all other equipment that is not fragile, then when you and your wife settle down you can start that dream tank.
Big tanks are a *ithch to move. (even just across the room)
