well BTA in my opinion and experience are definitely the easiest to care for in terms of hardiness, however I wouldn't call ANY anemone hardy. without a mature tank( roughly one yr old) the correct and STABLE parameters and strong light source they are relatively impossible to keep alive and even with all those in check its not a sure thing. Personally I think its best to find out which nem is your clownfishes natural host and go with that. it generally makes the hosting process happen a lot sooner , although if the clown is captive bred it may not matter as much considering it has never been in the wild w its natural host. My avatar is my RBTA and its the natural host for my cinnamon clown pair. the female was in the nem in less than 24 hrs of introduction to the DT. Bfore chosing your nem we could help more if we had a little info on your system. what are your water params? are they stable? do you keep up on regular waterchanges/maintenance ? what size tank do you have and what lighting system is on it? how long has the tank been set up and running? Anemone are amazing and beautiful creatures but need the right conditions so just make sure everything is in order before getting one ya know? I made the mistake when I was new to the hobby and instead of doing my own research I took the lfs employees advice and killed two anemone :-(. my lights were far to inferior and my tank was no where near old enough. once you post some info we can help you better!! in the meantime check out rose bta or rainbow bta they are my favorite. here's a pic of mine under daylights

What are your plans for the anemone? By that I mean are you hoping that it will host clownfish? If so, I agree that a BTA is your best bet. I also agree that it's a good idea to wait awhile until your tank has stabilized and you've got your arms around good maintenance practices (I think the six-month rule is as much about the aquarist as the aquarium).
On the other hand, if you're just looking for something colorful and easy to keep and you're not trying to find a host for clowns, you could try maxi-mini (s. tapetum) anemones or maybe a rock flower anemone (Epicystis crucifer). Both of these anemones come in very pretty varieties and are easier than even BTAs, but they will not host clowns.
