Need a new skimmer....External?

Im having trouble witth my current skimmer and would love to get a different one. Right now I have a bubble magnus nac77 and it just isnt doing the job. It keeps shutting down and starting back up. I adjust it to try and get it right and I think I have it and it overflows or does nothing. I've had this skimmer for over a year and I have went threw 2 sets of pumps also on this thing.

I recently changed pumps on my tank and was also thinking this might be the cause ,but it was doing this before.

220 with a 60g sump
reeflo hammerhead valved down with 3-1" returns
2-mp40s
12" valmini tang
8" queen angel
7" red sea sail fin
6" blue throat trigger
4- clowns
4- chromis
hawk fish
4" spuare box

The reason I have this pump is I want to upgrade the tank this summer to a 500g. Thought I would just use it on here and vlave it down. I had a little green giant before that was only doing 300 after all the head flow. Now I have the flow, but need to fix the skimmer.

If I go with a external I can save room in my sump, its easier to dial in, and can get a bigger one that is over sized. I would like to get one that I can use now and be able to use on my 500g when I get it.

Anybody have any suggestions on what I should get?

There is a H&S 200 X 1260 skimmer for sale that is an external it is in the used forum. Another option is an Deltec skimmer of course I am speaking about used one's.

Thanks...I checked it out, but I guess it needs work. Deltec would be very nice if I could find one cheap.

Next reef is also building an external skimmer. PS there are about 3 large H&S skimmers for sale in the used threads two external and one internal.
