Need a recommendation please

I am looking at various pumps. Trying to make up my mind which to buy but I hear good things about Tunze. I have a tank on the way... it is 72x30x20" it will be mixed reef with less rather than more rock, that is, it will have an open aquascape. How many and which models would you recommend?

The ideal would be the revised 6105's which should be out next month that will include the wide flow nozzle as well as the existing focused flow nozzle. I think a pair of those and the controller of your choice would be the best way to go.

Roger this tank will have an external overflow and an open aquascape. Where would be the best placement for the 2-6105s?

In general this is a trial and error process but a good starting point is the back corners aimed to the front at a point halfway between the middle and opposite diagonal corner. The pumps should be about 1/3rd of the tank height down from the top of the water level.
