Need a safer carpet

I have 2 anemones, a BTA which my clowns (false percs) host and a haddoni carpet that is eating me out of house and aquarium. It has eaten a vermiculated foxface, a bangaii cardinal, a cleaner shrimp, a fire shrimp, a queen conch, and a whole mess of snails.

Do you guys think that I could add a clown to host in it? Or would my 125 be too small for the diffrent clowns. I think if I can add a host it might chase everything else away from the carpet and keep it safe. The anemones are about 3 feet apart.

Think it can be done?

I just added a pair of pink skunks for my carpet......carpet ate one last night.

I waiting for it's next victim.

Are you certain its a haddoni? Most carpets that consume fish are S.Gigantea, although I'm sure haddoni's eat their share as well.

I think you have it backwards. S.hadonis are known as the fish eaters. My giganteas have never eaten a fish.

OK, sorry, Thanks

I think if you added another pair of clowns their territories would overlap and you would have problems. Maybe you could do it if they were further apart.

I think it would be better to get rid of the carpet or not have any other fish.

I have several clowns in my 110 and they do ok - i do have one large tomato that thinks he owns the tank and he can get a little aggressive - he owns the 3 bubble tips . I have a blue carpet that hosts a skunk. Your biggest problem is that the anemones may move and put the clowns in close proximity

After I calmed down I decided this was a bad idea. There maybe aggression, there may not. I decided it wasn't worth the risk.
