who makes the smallest 1/10 and/or 1/6 hp chiller? i dont have much floor space to add any chiller, thus i need something small. do the chillers that require a line dropped to the sump work well? that would be ideal. just to know, who makes the best 1/10 and 1/6 hp chiller? thanks for the info (the sooner the better)

Do you need a heater or a chiller:D

How much of a temp drop are we looking at here?

Have you tried a small fan and adjusting your lighting schedule so that it's not on during the hotest part of the day? Seems like an awful lot of maney for something you maynot need. Two samll fans pulled the temp down 4 degrees on 450 gallons of water volume on my old tank... And two fans were less than $30.

Might be worth trying one over your sump...

yes im running two small fans over my 72 lit by 4-54w T-5's. think i might have too much equipment running. also its against an outside wall. any advice?

How small of fans? I used one 60CFM 4" fan from radio shack and one 4 or 5" clip on fan from wally world. It worked perfect.

Before I can give better advice, a pic of the set up would be helpful... If not, more info. Are you running a canopy or just the lights on the top? Glass tops? is the sump enclosed in the stand? temp of your house during the time your having elevated heat levels? etc:)
