i saw this snail at the lfs that i used to work at and decided to bring it home. i decided to have it identified before i release it i n the tank. the shell is smoother than glass and was very hard to pick up. it has red spots on it's foot and around the lower edges of it's shell. the eyes are also bright red. is it a carnivore and i should be worried or is it something with a nice disposition? the trunk(radula/probiscus?) is kind of long and the mouth is hidden by it's larger foot. it also is very fast moving and buries itself in the sand. any ideas? there are also some pics of the shell structure in my gallery.
