Need a Sump...

I am still slowly piecing together my new tank my wife surprised me with. I have the lights and skimmer. Now is the sump and plumbing. My current sump uses a glass tank I glued in baffles. This time I want an acrylic sump... Does anyone have one of the glasscages sumps? Are there other options? I don't care to do it yourself on this one.. I just don't have the time or will. If someone knows a better option than glasscages please let me know.

You setting that big tank up at the house you are in? I was wondering if you were planning on moving still. You just can't beat GC's on price of the acrylic tanks but I wasn't real crazy about there sump design.

I have a custom system from GC. I would not go with a stock one as the done leave much margin for evap. they can custom build, but you have to have specivid drawings. my best advice, go with a 20 long config with a large area for the return pump. this means you wont have to top off as often. make sure you have and area for your skimmer in it and that other eqpt can fit in.

here is a photo of my custom GC sump. they misplaced my baffels on the return end so I had to modify it, but I woudl leave as much room for the return pump as you can. especially if you dont have auto top off. other wise, you will be topping off every night. the third baffel from the right is the one I added, the one i wanted origionally.
