Need a third, and final, fish recommendation

Ok guys and gals,

I have a 20gal rimless cube (Elos Mini) that's been established about 4 years now. I have a black/white clown and a royal gramma that have both been in there nearly as long (the clown was first). The two get along with each other fine.

I wanted a third fish and got a blue-green chromis (because the color is completely different than the two fish I have now). Immediately, the royal gramma would charge at it with mouth agape and the clown would charge at it as well. The chromis did fine for a couple of weeks and I thought they had all worked out their differences. One day, I checked the tank to find no sign of the chromis. I think it was bullied to death and my CUC took care of the corpse.

Anyone got any recommendations on a fish that can hold his own against these two and is a different coloration?

Thank you!

Never really even considered a damsel.....the "blue" ones look a little too purple to me and very similar in coloration the the royal gramma. I know damsels are jerks, but should be fine as the final addition, right?

Aren't gobies pretty docile? I'm sure it would get harrassed.

Most Gobys are pretty good jumpers so I wouldn't do it unless carpet surfing is fine.LOL. Damsels are pretty mean fish I am never getting them again if I were you I would get your clown a mate. IMO.

With a clown and gramma they are both a little more aggressive. I think you could get away with a smaller damsel like the blue devil. He will hold his own in an already am established tank.

I would suggest a Damsel.

I would not suggest a Clown. Clowns can hybridize, and if they mate, then the Royal Gramma may be ostracized. If they don't, well, good - potentially. Until/Unless both are female, and then all hell breaks lose.
