I am thinking of rigging a float valve ATO for a system that only holds around 25-30 gallons (main system).
I am looking for a way to rig the float valve to a very small flow pump (I don't care how slow but hopefully just a dribble/trickle).
The Aqualifter pump seems to be what I need. It looks like an Air pump that moves small amounts of water instead. Click the link below to see what I mean. It is actually designed for the overflow weir to keep air out of the weir.
I'll just connect the pump to the float switch, and let it pump the water from the ATO sump (clear kalk mix) into the flow of a powerhead or filter of the tank.
The pump looks like it would be very slow, which is exactly what I need.

If anyone can give my any thoughts on this. If you are using this, do you think the pump could lift water 3-4 feet?
Thanks!!
