Need advice and an ID

Hi all,
My whole tank is covered with the green long thing (dont remember the english name ). What do u suggest to get rid of them. Only refreshing water enough or should i rip them from liverocks one by one?

And also can u ID this plant.

That green hair alege? Have you been using tap water to top off?

another thing check you phosphates. How long have you had your lights?

no use checking your phosphats as you will get a reading of 0 due to the fact the alage is using it all up as fast as it comes into the tank. but to help rid it.

skimm more
reduce feedings
water changes
use rodi water
add a fuge to grow macro alage

if you get your nitrates and phosphats down to 0 then no more hair alage

You have alot of nutrients bound up in a lot of algae

try to pull as much out as you can

the Red leafy thing on the right resembles Halymenia, a red algae.

depends on where it is it is good in a fuge out of sight but bad in the main tank unless you like the way it looks. it is a macro alage. good nutrient exporter
