Who has advice for me on traveling/flying with coral frags.
how much water (is needed or allowed)
safe amount of time?
how did you place them in the luggage or did you take a carry on?
Hot pack or not really needed?

I've never done this before but I've heard of people doing it.
So I'm From mid NE (not many options for local stores  ) and I'm visiting Orlando, FL next month and have some time the night before I leave and thought it might be fun to visit a few shops down there (if anyone knows of any good ones please speak up) Thought I might trying flying a few frags home, or if all else fails maybe Over night ship or next day. Maybe ask the store to ship them for me. Thanks

I suggest to check first with the airline rules and work from there. You will not like an order of $100.00 to be confiscated in the gate of arrival from Aduana.

If i am going to take the risk i will put them as suggested before in the luggage or in different luggage's just to avoid major risks.

Keep us updated how it goes.

I go to Orlando often since its not far from me. World Wide Corals is the best one there. They are a very popular store in general not just the Orlando area. they are known for having nice/rare corals...... Also expensive. Its worth a visit though
