Not sure if this is the best forum for this thread but if it isnt appropriate Mods please feel free to move it thanks.

I am looking for some opinions for an online vendor that carries good quality reef fish. And ones to stay away from if you have had bad experiences. Thanks- Gary

Liveaquaria, Blue Zoo, NYAquatics, and a few others generally have positive reviews.

Aquacon is never spoken of in any positive way. Stay away.

Diver's Den (liveaquaria) is top not. Aquatouch is also good, but they usually only have a few rare fish.

I liked BlueZoo a lot more when they had a WYSIWYG section, but now they rarely have any WYSIWYG fish.

NYAquatics has cheaper fish, but I don't think they condition them as well as the others before sale. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Diver's Den is probably the best.

From a similar thread,

All but one of my current fish are from DD/LA (( with one being from "plain" LA )).

Flame dwarf angel pair
Blue C. Nox dwarf angel
SI Perc pair
Orange Stripe Prawn Goby pair
Exquisite fairly wrasse
Multicolored angel *** LA
Golden lawnmower blenny
Venustus dwarf angel

IMO & IME: Live Aquaria and their Divers Den are the best run businesses (of any kind) I've ever known. They will do anything possible to make sure you're happy. I've bought almost all my fish there since they started and have never had a situation that they didn't fix to my complete satisfaction. Thats a lot of fish; before & after I moved.

I have to agree. World class for sure.

Thanks alot you guys! I will be placing an order from them(LiveAquaria) after viewing there nice selection and they have a 14 day guarantee, nice! thats the kind of place i would say take care of there livestock!
Now in what order should i introduce fish here is what i had in mind.
1) 2 ocellaris clown
2) 6 line wrasse
3) pacific blue tang
4) copperband butterfly (australia) is there that much of a diff between indo and australian cbb?
5) powderblue tang or powderbrown tang
6) spotted mandarin/ blue mandarin

Is this for the 144? If so, I would skip the "pacific blue tang", and might want to reconsider having both the 6 line and a mandarin, will both compete for the same type of foods, and 6 lines can be fairly aggressive.

I agree with both of the above.
IMO & IME; Australian CBBs are worth the extra $. I think that anytime you have a choice; there are a few prime locations to choose. Primarily because they are collected and handled with more care and collection laws are well inforced. Australia, Hawaii, Christmas Islands are a few of my favorites, there are several others. Unfortunately, cyanide is still used in some places, although good dealers do everything possible to avoid those fish---they still exist. Just my observation, but Aussie fish seem to have developed more vivid colors in many species and CBBs are one. My Aussie CBB adapted very easily (for the species) and is magnificent.
