Personally, hadd the CSS, had an ASM, I love the output and quietness of my Tunze, pulls out consistent nog from my 55g. I have the 9015.

I agree with Reefrocker and completely disagree with Rich. Deltec AP600 or APF600. I have seen the Octopus in action and I own a Deltec. Octopus is a nice skimmer but it is no Deltec.

Bring you're little 5" deltec over. You can watch my big honkin $189 skimmer shut it down.



Skimmers are simple. Big needlewheel skimmer beats little needlewheel skimmer.

iv'e never personally owned a tunze skimmer,but i do own a couple of streams from them-top quality!i have to believe with their reputation that this skimmer will work great for you,or you can look into the new h&s small skimmers,i own an h&s and am very satisfied.

I'm also looking at skimmers in this size range (10" wide by 17" long) and my contenders were:

DAS EX 1
ER CS80
PCI RS2000

My friend reps DAS and is giving me SWEET deal, so I can't pass it up. Recirc, Deltec-licensed, low W consumption needlewheel, 7" x 15" footprint.
