need advice retro mh 250w

i heart there is a random bulbs is good but what is random bulbs?? se or de?

hqi is DE bulbs right?

i am looking retro SE mh to builds my own hood combi with t5,,,so what is the best mh retro out there??and what kind of ballast?/
so many choice,,don't know and never own any mh light so help me pick out the good mh system please thanks
