Need advice SPS corals bleaching?

Coral food can make skimmers go nuts. Set the skimmer to the highest recommended higher in the skimmer. If the sweet spot is 8 try 6" and go from there.

I'm running a 1/2 cup on 65 gallons...way to much? Should I turn it off or just cut back to 1/4 cup?

Depends on the tank. In this case, it appears to be overkill. I would cut it down to 1/4 cup and see if your phosphate creep closer to .05 ppm.
