Need an ID

Not sure what this is, and research hasn't given me anything. It's got 8 reddish leg looking things, and sticks out from the glass about a millimeter or so? Any ideas?

Also there were several tiny shrimp looking creatures. I'd just added a peppermint shrimp, and from what I've seen it looks like they are baby peppermints. They are just getting recklessly tossed around in the water column. Any ideas on how I can rear them? Should I just leave them for my goby?

I'm not really sure what I'm looking at in the picture, but the tiny shrimp your seeing could be mysid shrimp. Here's a good article.

These are hydroid jellyfish.

The thing on the glass is a hydroid. Is this a relatively new tank? If so, then no worries, they will go away eventually. The little shrimp like creatures are your pods. The more you see the better.

Yes, no problem for mysid shrimps.

And in the image center you see a hydroid jellyfish --> Nausithoe sp.
