Need an LED fixture for macro refugium

Looking to grow a variety of macros in a refugium for nutrient export.
Had a 150w HPS setup previously that kicked major booty with cheato, but this time I need to avoid the heat and also looking for a full spectrum lamp.
I've also run a 125w CFL in the past but I need something a little more compact.
Looked at some of the grow light fixtures but I think they're tuned for either vegetative or flowering stages of land plants with spikes in the blue and red spectrums, but seem to be missing areas between.
Willing to spend up to $200 but would like to be well under that if possible.

I just saw that one yesterday. Wondering if its a bit too narrow though?

I've used the fixtures from Finnex and they have worked very well for me, the fugeray series in particular.

I forgot about these. Used to have the white one on a 12g long planted aquarium.
Two 16" units might work.

Keep them coming! :)

If you're up for a tiny bit of DIY, SLief pointed me (and many of us, I guess) towards 10W LED pendants. I bought a few 20s, a few 10s, and strung them together with Y connectors, each wattage on their own cord. Pretty easy. Right now I have a 40B growing mangroves, gorgonians, and a nice set of macros under them. Probably 80 bucks each.

I like it too. I might add a cheap white PAR38 just to reduce the redness, but that's just my personal aesthetic preference.

I switched out my hps also in January.. I have been using this extremely reliably, and honestly, it may seem hard to believe, but it kicks even the sodiums tail! Like massively!

MarsHydro Mars300 Mars600 LED Grow Light(Mars300 with Veg/Bloom Spectrum for Hydroponic Indoor Greenhouse/Garden Plant Growing, 132W True Watt Panel) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XC3LBI2/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_kGdcxbQW0TPEN

I have this one also, but I'm using it on my tomato plants, but it would work also:

ViparSpectra Reflector-Series 300W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum for Indoor Plants Veg and Flower https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B4GQ6MO/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_OIdcxb58PQ7JS

Neither of them have a lick of heat, and they definitely grow cheato like no other.. Even once again compared to the sodium.. Lol, I actually gave my sodium away a few weeks ago..

Hi Damon, I was actually looking at that Mars 300 too, before I found the one i posted above.
Looks like the same spectrums. Same number of LEDs. But less expensive. I do like the red of the AgroMax though. lol! :D ;)
How is the fan noise?
How big is your fuge?
How high do you have it mounted from the water?

Thanks for posting. After the HPS fixture, I know you wouldn't steer me wrong.

Hey dude! I'm going to try and remember everything.. But either of them are great! I honestly don't think for cheato, I'd spend too, too much like that fixture. And, actually, with all the led grow fixtures I've looked at, not even to grow my plants with..

Fan noise-non existent on either of the fixtures.. I think, if I remember(I'd have to go look at it), but off the top of my head, they are the 120mm fans that honestly, I have, even on my tower that I built,I have never heard.. So suffice to say silent..

Honestly,I just gave it sitting on two boards across my fuge(yes, a bit country or tacky, lol, but it works)..

And height above the fuge, about 10".. Lol, or honestly, whatever that height is..

And nope , I wouldn't steer wrong.. I have used the mars since I think it was January 4th.. And been pulling 5 gallon buckets at least once a week.. And these are "packed" buckets to force it to fit.. And you think that sodium did dense, wait till you give it a couple days to a week to adjust to the light! Never sewn anything like it..

And thus fuge area is(i have to remember now) 20x17x11"..

Try it, trust me, it's a massive difference from the sodium dude!

ok cool, my fuge should be similar, somewhere around 20g.
Alright, looks like I might have to get one of these. :)

Thanks!

Hey Damon, you wouldn't happen to have a pic of the Mars over your fuge, would you? I'm just curious what the color is like. :)

Thanks!
Crazy how all these lights looks so purple compared to sunlight. :)
But I can see the orange spectrums in there.

No problem.. And honestly, it looks more pink with this one.. The via fixture does look more purple in its color..

If you really want to go hard on this Dennis, Kessil makes some pretty wild grow lights in a couple different spectra. H150 and H350 red, magenta, purple, or blue.
