need anemone

looking for an easy anemone for my g/f's nemo. nothing too expensive. let me know what you have and price, pics would be helpful

i also have a brown beaded anemone i can trade, it's very cool looking but im not sure if it would be a good host or not, i don't think my gf would like it though. got it from jeff trout

Most clowns will host in any soft coral as easily as an anemone. The anemones will need intense lighting and will not thrive unless the lighting is just right. I have had a couple of red bubble tips that have not done great under my 5 overdriven T5 bulbs in a 75g tank. They were 3-4" across and the same anemones were 12" wide under a 250w MH bulb.

I have had clowns host in hairy mushrooms, anthelia, xenia, toadstool leathers etc... and all of those can live without super bright lighting.

i currently have a pink tip in there with the clown but i hear that they don't host in pink tips. my light is a 130watt pc fixture over a 20g high. i saw a few anemones at the petco, but im not sure if clowns will host in it. it's looks like a pink tip but it's not with a reddish stump brownish tenticles and pink tip

I would shy aware from the nems at Petco. They are all usually bleached and stressed. With some intense lighting and a routine of TLC and feeding they can bounce back. However, most perish.

frost dont buy from petco i bought a sebae there and it died in a couple days. I got my pink skunk clowns to host in my pink tip until the percs took over there home needless to say i had to get rid of the skunks. Percs moved back to my long tenacle and actually had fry last night i caught around 100 we will see how it goes.
