Need clam safe, non jumper fish or invert suggestion...

Not really sure, I think it is by CaribSea...

Well we have a pest now, some type of copepod, or some type of pod, definently not a pyram snail. They are bothering the mantles and foot of the clams. Seem to be killing them... Freshwater dipping for about 2 minutes kills all of them but the next day there are a ton back.

Any clam pests that ring a bell?

Sounds like for sure a copepod does it have a little tail and swim in kind of a circular pattern. Throw a mandarian in and he will take care of them. They like to hang on mangrove plants.

None of my fish bother my crocea clam, and the only certified jumper is the firefish. THe pep shrimp have been known to be a pest now and again, but never harm, only annoy.

Already have a mandarin if my 120 soon to be 300, so I can probably acclimate him over temporarily. Yea it definently behaves like a copepod

I have seen clams come in from my wholesalers with them all over them but I have never seen them kill a clam that wasn't already near death. Just an FYI.
