Need clam safe, non jumper fish or invert suggestion...

So my clam tank is up and going now... 48x24x12 zeroedge tank.

The tank is going to be 90% clams, and I am trying to decide on a small fish to add a little movement to the tank for those viewers who aren't as crazy about the clams as I am.

The trick is it has to be clam safe no picking or torturing my clams, a non jumper (b/c of the zeroedge), and preferable have some color and movement...

Thanks for any advice folks...

Blue Green Chromis? A school of 6 might be cool... moves around alot, I don't think it bothers clams, I don't think they jump.

Frogfish have "little movement" and won't jump. LoL

I personally would do something like red spot cardinals if you could find em.

Well we ended up doing a yellow tang temporarily before he ends up in our bigger tank...

I am now thinking about a group of bangaii's...

BTW here are some pictures so far... The second two taken through the top with the pump running.

Love the clams, and the gorgonians are an awesome touch.

Just curious is that a sea apple in there? If so it could easily wipe out that whole tank when it dies, I would remove it asap.

I am aware of the problems with Sea Apples. This tank is an oddity, no crabs of any kind, no powerheads, no intakes, nothing to get caught on and cause a sudden death. He is spot fed 3 times a day with phyto, selcon and rotorich. But thank you for the concern.

Thank you.

I think we are all full on fish at the moment. I am thinking more gorgonians as I spot ones I love and can keep alive. As well as some more mangroves planted in the tank.

I am trying to come up with a way to grow the mangroves in the black spill tray of the zeroedge tank. any ideas?

Mangroves don't really filter the water as good as you think. You need a lot of them and have to have some slow flowing water on them. This way it can suck up as much nutrients as possible.

Thanks for the advice on that howeroll, they are more there for aesthetics, there is chaeto growing in the sump, growing fast I might say.
