Hi just wanted to see if anybody is interested in diving tomorrow, monday. All of my buddies have left me hanging and I dont have anybody to go with. I was planning on diving the afternoon trip, 1;00 pm with south florida diving headquaters, southfloridadiving.com. It will be two reefs about 60-70 ft. Let me know if anybody is interested.

Hey Rogger I go every monday or tuesday, since those are the days I'm off work, Ive been dying to get back in the water since I havent been in for three weeks because of the weather. Let me know if you want to go next monday.

wow this is cool mar y sol i want to learn on how to dive where is a good place and you know affordable to go

well Im biased because I work at Tarpoon Lagoon plus I got certified there too eight years ago. Its a really good store and some of the instructors are really nice. I work at the beach store but we have a store in Hialeah too, 32 and palm ave. Its the original store in south florida. Check them out. And whatever you do get a NAUI certification not PADI, more rigorous and harder training but will end up with you being a better diver faster.

I got almost everything to do diving I only need the tank and regulator :D mar y sol give me a discount :D I also need a computer ................

good look monday

if you buy all those things I can definetly give you a discount, but this is not the forum for that. Just come by and Ill work with you

I would love to go but have to work :( lmk next time! The more I’m in the water the happier I am ... must have been a fish in another life..lol

thats a negative ghostrider, the pattern is full...

(translation: cant, im in class... but id love to go some other time)

I just want to chime in here for a second.
it would be much better not to start bashing against an agency.
I think I know a thing or two about diving and at the end it comes down to the instructor who teaches the class, since the requirements of OW certifying agencies are all mostly the same.
If one wants to find out what an agency requires you to learn before becoming certified, you can read up on this on the agency's website.

now, about an OW agency being able for you to become a better diver faster, I wonder what would make that believable unless you're talking about the upcoming OW class offered by GUE, where they teach you the use of a long hose, BP and wing and incorporate nitrox, AOW, rescue and fundis into one program that runs something like 15 days and costs about $1500.00
I believe this will make you a better diver faster.
just my 200psi.

lol....knew this was coming....lol

yea gue classes are nice but most people will not pay $1500 for class. and although most of the basic requirements are the same for most agencies and its true that mostly depends on the instructor most padi instructors just cover basic skills and nothing else. Where the naui instructors, or at least the ones that I work with, go through line skills, search and recovery, rescue and alot more skills that padi deems to be advance skills.

isn't this what I just said and this is what it comes down to, the individual instructor.
I'm sure you only know and work with fine instructors and if they would be teaching for agency ABC, they would still do the exact same teaching, giving their customers a lot more for their money then the agency would require them to do.
