I am looking for a unit that will dose 2 part. I have never purchased one before, so if anyone has one that they would recommend, please let me know.

Look at:

1. Drew's Dosing Pump + electronic timer (BulkReefSupply.com)
2. LiterMeter III + remote pump (various vendors)
3. Peristaltic pump off eBay (search "Masterflex")
4. GroTech Dosing pump (various vendors)
5. AquaMedic Reef Doser (various vendors)

You could also look for medical dosing pumps. Many use a dual version sold by various vendors.

From ^^ I use the Drews pumps, and they work very well, and are reasonable.

Another to add to the above list are the Profilux dosers. They have 1-4 dosers per unit. They come as standalone-which have an onboard computer to time everything, and also as slave units- which you need the Profilux controller to run.

1st is what i went for, working great. But i'm using the BRS doser that does 1.1 ml a minute hookes up to my aquarium controller

AquaMedic is the best if you have the money.

I have heard way more people say they fail prematurely...

As far as best of the best would probably be Lab Grade Masterflex pumps...
Best Aquarium branded one... Grotech
Next in line would be litermiter and Profilux
The Aqua Medic would be tied with the Drews Doser for last place.

Ive had mine for 6 years dosing 2 part and never had a problem. Thing is a tank. Don't know where you guys are getting your info. Hopefully it's from personal experience

I used an AquaMedic for a number of years, back when I lived in Europe. Never had a problem with it. I would put GroTech at number one, though. Just too expensive.

I was thinking about get the Aqua Medic, but wanted to know more about it. Found the double doser on sale for $208 online. That's sounded like a good deal.
