Anyone have glass scraps or acrylic scraps laying around that I can have to make a cover for a standard glass 10gal tank? Or a pre-made clear cover for standard 10gal. Please PM me price.

Are you sure you want to cover the tank? Evaporation, oxygen, etc...

Sup Frizz. I just grabbed a standard clear plastic bin cover from home depot, then with some time w/ an exacto - made it fit my 10gal tank.

Also drilled many holes in it to allow for additional gas exchange. Keeps my dog hair out, keeps my fish in, and keeps temp stable (for now... will have to see how it performs in summer)

The black bar under the middle is a wooden .49 ruler, wrapped in electrical tape, additional support if needed for the plastic cover, and the black bar ontop is a piece of scap wood I had, cut & drilled squares out to accommodate these string LEDs, then once again wrapped in electrical tape =)

Ty for the idea, I need it to support Chinese led box though. Will definitely look into diy as an option. But does anyone have scrap acrylic or glass sheet? I prefer glass actually but acrylic will do.

Homedepot or lowes should be able to cut you a piece in the exact size you need for less than $10 I would guess. I'd use glass for your purpose. Acrylic will warp and bow over time from heat.
