Get out your magnifying glass and look for redbugs. My corAls looked like that and I discovered red bugs on them.

Uh a telescope, binoculars, squint your eyes heh. After I found out that they were there I was able to see them with just my eyes

wats the flow like hitting it right there, also whats your parameters any shift in them, idk maybe i never had red bugs that bad but when i had them they would never make the tissue peel off.

What are all your water parameters, i.e. salinity, alkalinity(day and night), calcium, magnesium, pH, temperature(day and night), nitrogen(all three), phosphate, lighting, flow, etc. What do you dose? how often? Water change regime?

Guessing(need to know your parameters), it could be redbugs, alkalinity shifts, nitrates, phosphates, flow or lighting. Being a blue staghorn, it wants all the flow and light you could EVER give it, just don't point a powerhead directly at it.
