I cant stop the microbubbles from entering my tank from the skimmer. I tried to adjust the air flow as recommended in the instuctions but the tank still has them. Is there a way to stop them and still have the skimmer turned up? Thanks. Oh, i just set up my first tank today.
alot of times it depends on your pump level. i know with my css 65 that was the problem you dont want your pump below 3 inches of the water. wait what kind of berlin is this??? there are so many.
Its a berlin classic i think, bought it used and it doesnt say on it. It just says berlin hang on, 5 to 250 gal. skimmer. It seems to be working fine, no foam yet but i just hooked it up today. I unhooked it at the guys house and transferred it to my house, hooked it up and all was great except those bubbles. The return pump has about 2 inches of water above the whole pump. If i shut the air off to the skimmer the water still flows but all bubbles are gone, but that does no good for skimming
well then i really dont know other than trying to adjust the height of the skimmer. just raise it up some and see if it helps. just mess around to see if you can fix it. sorry i cant be of more help
