I got my probe with my P2 and since upgraded to P3ex.

It came with a "Analytical Instruments" probe and calibration fluid pH7 and pH9.

When I set calibration value 1 to 7, it says "Calib.Value.Deffe. too small"

What should I do? please help.

Here are the pics.

This is the probe and calibration fluid i got.

set it to 7.0 you have the decimal in the wrong place this was rectified for easier claibration in later firmware versions.

You cannot control the decimal. However I figured out the problem.

THe p3 is set by factory to 4 and 7, so when I try and set the lower ent to 7
it says that the diff is too small.

So what you have to do is set the bottom to 4 and let it try and calibrate with the 7 sample then when you get to the high end set it to 9 and calibrate with 9 sample. THEN go back and recalibrate and you can set the low end to 7 since the high is set to 9... Get it?

Sorry you missunderstood, what i meant was when you input 7 manually even though you are scrolling up on the right decimal side i.e 5-6-7, it saw it as a lower value bascially it saw the reading as if the value was the wrong side of the decimal point, this was a commonly missed on lower FW versions and we saw the exact technical support questions about once a week.

The way round it was to let the controller scroll up completely from 4.0 to 7.0 i.e 4.1-4.2-4.3-4.4-4.5.........6.9-7.0

But importantly you got it sorted which is far more important ;)

I do suggest still updating to the latest version software.
