I need your help again, but this time it's for a calcium reactor do I buy a plug and play or do I buy fom here and there and assemble my owne.Looking for some suggestions i'm lost when it comes to reactors I don't know where to start. This will be for my 120rr (sps, clams and lps) thanks again.BTW I made a call to my local welding supply store and he has a steel 10pound CO2 filled for $100 and the aluminum is almost tripple the cost.

You can buy aluminum co2 tanks on ebay pretty cheap.$300 for a 10 lb.co2 tank is insane!!!I think I saw some 10 pounders for about $60-79 buy it now on ebay.As far as getting them "filled"instead of trading in you can go to most places that sell/service fire extinguishers and they can fill Your tank instead of trading for one at the welding supply place.

We got a full setup from Reeftek for our chruch's tank. I haven't set it up yet (still need to get the bottle filled with CO2). However, the construction is nice. I'd recommend the Eheim pump upgrade.

PS, the picture on the website is old. The newer models are all hard pipe. To see the new one, go here: http://www.reeftek.com/Calcium_Reactor.htm and click the "View Reactor in Operation" link.

I run an MRC CR-2 dual chamber and it is great. With the second chamber I was able to have almost NO FLUCTUATION in my tank pH. I'm not sure if the same can be said for single chamber reactors. I like the MRC but my friend has a PM reactor that works good too.

The only thing is i'm not sure how much room that will take I want to put this under my tank and already have a sump there with a little room left 10"Lx20"Wx27"h.
