need help deciding on a light

I am getting a 30 gallon oceanic cube next week and i have no idea what kind of light i should get for it. i dont have a lot of money so halids would probably be out of the question. i want to be able to have some soft coral such as green star polyps.

if you are seriously going to stay with softies, compact florescent should be fine. although most people find themselves wanting an anemone or a clam sometime down the road once they have gained plenty of experience. if you have any desire to ever keep some harder to keep creatures, i would still consider a MH. if cost is what is holding you back keep a close eye on the classifieds for good buys on equipment. you never no what you will find!

thanks for the advice , i think i will go with the power compacts, which ones do you recommend. is there anyway you could attach a link of ones that you recommend.
