Need help deciding which tank to choose

Hello RC,

I am going to start a new build soon and need help deciding which tank to go with. I'm really leaning towards the JBJ 30 gallon rimless but kinda confused...

JBJ Rimless
When I searched around, it seems like a lot of the info about the JBJ rimless tanks is older and I'm curious to hear some up to date (long term) info from JBJ owners who have now had their tanks for some time. How's the build quality holding up? And what do you think of the glass clarity when compared to low iron glass tanks? It has been said that although the JBJ are not low iron they still maintain a very clear appearance. I've heard tons of great things about this lineup of tanks but have also heard a few horror stories online about the tanks bursting. I personally know 1 dude whos JBJ 30 bursted from the back not long ago tank was 1 year old and taken good care of. Shame

Mr. Aqua Low-Iron
These tanks are pretty popular in my area. I've been debating the 25 gallon low iron cube. I know the glass is clear af and the silicone work is out of this world excellent. This tank is also about 100 bucks cheaper than the JBJ but is not an all in one. What are your thoughts on this?

BioCube
This tank seems attractive when converted to rimless... I have a local that's selling a 29g BioCube converted to rimless so this ones also on the menu its going for a killer deal. He took the black completely off the top so it looks like the jbj. How is the build quality on this one? How about glass clarity?

I left out Innovative Marine because I don't care for the black silicone look.

You pretty much have to have a sump with Mr. Aqua to truly take advantage of the rimless beauty of it so take that into consideration. Right now, my dream nano would be the low iron Mr. Aqua 22 Gallon long with a MAME overflow. There is a guy who makes an AIO insert for the 12 Gallon long that sets it up peninsula style, pretty freaking sweet but I want more volume. Google: Oceanbox Designs

Other than that, I would go JBJ. The Biocube looks good with the rim removed but there is still some black plastic trim left which the JBJ doesn't have. Haven't heard of these tanks leaking but I haven't been searching for that.

I personally really like my JBJ 30 rimless. Clarity is very good, despite being regular glass. I've never had a low iron tank though, so I have nothing to compare to... The big appeal to me was the curved front. I just personally prefer curved fronts to seams on the front of the tank...

I also like that it's basically an AIO without a hood / lights, which gives you the flexibility to use the lighting you want.

Can't speak to long term viability, as my tank is only 5 months old.

I liked my JBJ30RL. I would still have it if I hadn't gone bigger.
