NEED HELP, haze over empoer angel eyes

I have a 11 inch angel and he has a haze over his eyes , but i have had flukes with other angels, and they act werid they shake and dart around, he does not do any of this, he can see fine, i walk in he flys up to the glass ,also he is huge so a fresh water dip is not easy,there are 2 fish in the tank him and a dusimer tang ,the tank was left fishless for 10 weeks due to ick these fish came 3 weeks ago and got a dip before they went in so i am at a loss the tangs eyes are clear ,any thoughs ? thanks Dominic

I have an Asfur Angel who had hazy eyes, too (on two different ocassions). It's most commonly caused by a bacterial infection.

The first time, I removed him from the display and put him in a small hospital tank, and treated him with Maracyn (following the directions on the package). Overnight he was MUCH improved and after 3 days he was back to normal.

The second time he had cloudy eyes, I tried treating him in the display tank by adding the Maracyn to his food. It worked equally as well as the hospital tank method. I pulverized a Maracyn tablet with a hammer and then disolved a small bit of it in a few drops of hot water. I then soacked some of his food in the solution (nori or flakes work best) and fed it to him twice a day. Once again, in three days all symptoms had disappeared.

You'll see Maracyn at nearly any LFS or pet shop. It doesn't matter if you use the freshwater or the saltwater variety.

I've cut down on my feeding, too. I think I was putting too much food in the tank which created an environment for unwanted bacterial blooms.
