Hey guys. title says it all. i think its a ritteri and thats what was said by the LFS but want to make sure. thanks

It really reminds me of a bleached condylactis. Note the red/pink column as well.

That is not a Mag. I would say either LTA or condy. Need different angled pics to tell for sure which.

To be completely honest with you, a magnifica is not a good anemone to get your feet wet with. Definitely go with something hardy like a BTA, then work your way up to the mag.

ive had RBTA for 2 years now and had it split a few times. ive done well with SPS as my tank is mainly SPS. parameters are stable and have tons of flow. have 2 radion pro's (G2) and a 250w MH over a 150gal tank. ive done some research on the Ritteri but could always use more. i ment get my feet wet with a ritteri, not with anemones

Make sure when you buy that its in good shape from the start and make sure you have cipro on hand to treat if needed.

Ah. Got it. Sounds perfect.
+1. Mags seem to respond well to Cipro (carpets seem to be hit or miss, depending on the condition of the nem when treatment begins) so definitely have some on hand.
