Do you guys know what this is on the glass? It's about the size of a milimeter and greenish with a red spot or eye. At first, I thought it was algae but closer inspection looks like a flat worm or slug. I just got an infestation of these things and don't know if they're good or bad. Anybody have suggestions on what they are and how I can get rid of them if they're bad? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Sorry about the fuzzy pic but it was hard to focus on the glass.

Hard to tell without a clear photo, but IMO those are Convolutriloba sp. (flatworms) I've had these appear in a gorgonian tank many years ago. some are photosynthetic and or preditorial. depending on what they are eating they could vanish once their food source is exhausted.

What live stock is in your tank currently? fish, corals and other sensitive inverts like shrimp?

Thanks guys. I have some LPS and SPS with a couple of hermit crabs. Fish-wise I only have a vlamingi and yellow tang, and a clown.

vacuum out as many as possible. then try a six line wrasse. if that doesnt get it under control try flatworm exit.
