Need help! Is this a disease? Or a process?

Hello and good day! I recently (3 weeks ago) picked up this acropora - it was technically brown, and over the past few days it's been drastically changing colour! Now this isn't like a mild change, but a massive one that looks as almost as if it is infected or going through some bizzare calcification- my water parameters are solid, other than the fact I have more than the standard rates of calcium in the water;everything else is kosher! Below is a picture; any help or opinions as to what is going on would be great as I'm fairly new to the hobby! Thanks!

It's dying, one branch has already lost skin.

You need to know your KH, Calcium, PO4, NO3, and how stable each of these are day to day. Acropora hate change, and in a new tank a lot of things are swinging, some of which we don't measure, so it's even more important to keep what we can measure as stable as possible.

STN...... Something is wrong. I agree with Markalot, we need to know your parameters.

Thanks! Appreciated! I'll double check my parameters; honestly I don't really like that particular piece so if it does die I'm not too worried; 15$ down- everything else seems fine and well in my tank.... It could be worse I suppose- maybe if I bought that cucumber and it got harassed by a hermit and nuked my tank :debi:
