Need help octo proofing my tank!

i just got this 34gal cube from my 2 brothers for my b-day and i was trying to figure out a way to octo proof this tank while having a led setup.. does anyone have any suggestions... thank you

I just made a screen top out of screen framing, and screen from home depot. Then made some clamps to hold it in place.

i would get glass from lowes and glue a rim around the tank and get a pane of glass larger than the hole and tape it down

thats A pretty good idea. so if I get a peice of glass about 3in around the rim and then another peice that lays ontop and have it locked down. But do you have any ideas about the overflow cause wouldnt he be able to fit through the slits. Thanks for the suggestions.

Gasket around the rim of the tank + metal reptile screen lid + reptile lid clamps. Works great.

Thanks for all the great ideas I think I'm gonna make a lid out of a reptile lid but I'm still trying to find out how to make the flow box octo proof. Any ideas?

ziptie screen to the slits and have the overflow go over the lid
