i had the uv light short out because it leaked. it burned at the connector and somehow contaminated my tank. so far i did a water change, new charcoal, stepped up my filter with a floss and a poly filter, and turned on the air stone. The fish in my reef tank look fine but the brittle stars came out and look dead. the corals look like they are on their way to being there too . I hope someone can help!

Forget the partial water change, get them out and into a 100% clean batch of saltwater.

I know alot of light bulbs have mercury in them, probably not good for the inverts. partial water change probably not enough. 100% fresh saltwater.
