Need help on Hydra 52 settings for my tank size

I bought an Innovative Marine 30 gallon NUVO Fusion 30L aquarium tank with a Hydra 52 LED light, which is currently placed 9" AWL and running with the factory default settings of 80% across all parameters.

I told you I was a newbie. In researching how high to have the light above the tank (most seem to recommend 10-12"), I'm realizing that my settings are way too high. But the ranges people seem to be using are for much bigger tanks. My tank is 35L x 15W x 13D. I currently have a couple of soft corals, 4 blue damsels, and a goby (Watchman Diamond). One of the corals (looks like grass when it's out), hasn't emerged since I added it to the tank yesterday.

Can anyone advise me on the light settings for an aquarium of this size? I'm worried about frying my corals not to mention what other bad things could happen that I don't know about yet.

Thanks!

After doing a lot of searching I came across these recommended setting to a fellow reefer from Aquailluminatoin as starting parameters.
I just left these as is since they seem to work fine for me since I have no corals at the moment. This is through the AI Director of course.
I keep mine about 6" AWL

With that being said you can email AI with your question and I've read they are excellent at customer service recommending starter settings for you application.
