Need help on my Blue hippo Tang

ill start out with what happened to my tank so i started a 265 tank it cycled for 4 months then i added fish i did it a little fast and added 20 fish in a month all did well for 3 months all was good then i had icy in my tank lost two yellow tangs powder blue and sail fin tang plus two clowns grouper and puffer was vary upset took all my fish out and gave them to my local fish store for copper treatment as i was going to travel and could not do it my self two months later i picked up my fish all looked good 3 days in my tank and my hippo is swimming funny and has black dots on body and a brown spot on his face the size of a pencil eraser not sure what it is and he is scratching on rocks not sure what it is PLEASE HELP!! I'm thinking my lfs took my money and did not treat my fish...

besides that, adding 20 fish within a month without proper quarantine is really asking for trouble. You can almost be sure something nasty will make it into your tank that you will have to spend lots of time and money on to get rid of.

Also the last one I would trust my fish to is a fish store. They are way too busy to do a correct and diligent treatment. Mostly they just use copper. I always try to get fish as early as possible from a store so they don't have time to pick up more diseases than those they originally came with.

If you want healthy fish you need to treat them yourself and take it slow. Get never too many fish at once and quarantine them for a minimum of 2 months - better 3 - including TTM, formalin dips and PraziPro treatment - before adding them to your display tank.
