Need help on Rhomboid

I just bought the Golden Rhomboid and I put in my 60g tank that have one female flame wrasses. Now the male Rhomboid is being chase by flame wrasse, is this normal and will go away in couple day or what should I do?

normal............should settle assuming the the rhomboid is bigger...flames have the tendency to be a little mean....

be sure the tank is covered during this period. (actually at all times)

yes the Rhomboid is much bigger but the female flame is very mean. And in 2 week I will have pair of flame add to the tank, don't want to think what going to happen.

wouldn't worry about the rhomboid.......worry about the other female flame......male should hold his own

Well, female fairy wrasses can be more aggressive than the males. A bad situation that many do not realize is that introduction of two females at the same level of sexual differentiation will really go at it. If you are trying to build a harem, be sure the females are differently sized.

You should get a breeder cup to socially acclimate new fairy wrasses to existing fairy wrasses in the tank.
