Need help planning shallow anemone tank

E.J. and Reefvette, those are beautiful gigantea anemones you each have.

Agree, they look like sarcophytons to me (leathers).

Reefvette, your carpet looks like my brown. It's hard to capture in photos but mine has a subtle yellow in the tips. Mostly the whole effect is "caramel" though.

I personally like the Gigantea better than Haddoni. Don't get me wrong, I love my Haddoni, but they just don't offer any movement in the tank. They are more like a burber carpet that just lays flat. Gigantea have much longer tentacles that sway in the current. More like a shag carpet.

Here's my little 4" Gigantea

This is my 16" Haddoni.

This is a pic of them side by side. Even at this small size, the Gigantea has tentacles about 4 times as long as the Haddoni.

How big is your elegance coral.

I actually just got another gignantea too. Its got a purple base with purply green tentacles. The base is almost the same colors as the dot on its verracruce. The base is like purple and the spots are blue. Pics will come as long as it is doing well. Its een expanding during the day to like 6 iches and at night shrinks down to 4.

White Balance is sooooo off and my bulbs are too. This weekend im switching my bulbs. Also taken with my celly.

Its the one in the forground with cream looking oral disc and the tentacles are purplish at the ends.

As of today lookin much better. The first pic is it from the first day

Here is from today at lunch expanding much better after a couple days of acclimation. My female akinydnos is getting in the action
