Need help positioning and tuning nano wave box

Took the plunge and got myself a nano wavebox today.
I have spent a few minutes trying different spot, tuning it etc but can't seem to get a big wave ... the most which is now is about 1/4 to 1/3".
The box is along the front pane of the glass (flow is parallel to the length) of my 72G bow.
The top of the box is about 2cm above the waterline and the slide switch on the box is at default of 12V. The potentiometer is near the min end.
Does moving the box higher or lower impact the size of the wave or would moving the slide swich to a higher voltage make the wave bigger?
Would a picture help?
The other thing is if I want to a powerhead in the tank where would be a good spot?

Duce, you should move the power up to 24v. With nano wavebox you don't have to mount the box at the front to flow along the length. You can mount it in the back facing the front and still produce the side to side motion... When you tuning the wave frequency, move the white knob very slow like a notch at the time and wait for 1 min before making another adjustment... If you have picture of your setup that would help..

Switched to 24V and reposition the box
Here is a full tank shot...the return is on the right hand side and the overflow is on the left hand side. I currently have all the PH removed except the NanoWaveBox that is beside the overflow

Do you see that return nozzle next to the wavebox? point it toward the surface. From the picture look like it point directly at the out put of the wavebox which is bad

You mean the 'thingy' in the left hand side of the second pic?
If so..that is a DIY mag-float algae clip
Do you think it is a good idea to put my nano stream on the return side pointing to the SPS?

It doesn't matter where you put the stream as long as it is not too close to the coral...
